Local Community Groups Loch & District Bowling Club Inc.
The Loch & District Bowling club was founded in the year 1970 over a casual conversation.
From that time to the present the Bowling Club has given the local and wider district communities a place to Lawn bowl in both a social and friendly atmosphere catering for all age groups.
The Loch & District Bowling Club has 1 Grass Green
Competition Pennant is played from October-February each year
Social Bowls are played either at home on our green or socially at other Bowling Clubs
Twilight Bowls are held on Wednesday Evenings starting the first week of daylight saving or weather permitting from 6.00pm - 9.00pm this is a great social evening for new bowlers in a friendly relaxed atmosphere where a sausage sizzle and chat with fellow Bowlers finishes off the evening, Flat shoes to be worn plus $5 green Fees
During the winter months when the green is closed Competition Carpet Bowls are played inside the Clubrooms Thursday's & Saturday's
The Loch & District Bowling Club encourage the general public of any age group to come and give this low impact sporting game a try
